The Golden State Valkyries host the Dallas Wings for a win-or-go-home Game 3 at Chase Center on Friday. The game tips off at 6 p.m. PT, and the winner will face whichever team emerges from the Las Vegas Aces-Indiana Fever series, decided in their Game 3 on Thursday. The Wings forced Game 3 behind a WNBA playoff-record 45 points from Arike Ogunbowale, which spoiled Gabby Williams’ career-best 36-point performance. If the Valkyries are able to win Game 3 and advance, they would host either A'ja Wilson or Caitlin Clark for Game 1 of the Semifinals on Sunday and retain home court advantage for the remainder of the playoffs.

The Valkyries fell 108-100 to the Dallas Wings in overtime on Wednesday night. Gabby Williams scored a career-high 36 points for the Valkyries, but it was Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale who stole the show, scoring a WNBA-playoff record 45 points. In a game that had 15 lead changes, the fourth quarter came down to the wire. After a pair of Gabby Williams free throws with 14.6 seconds remaining, the Valkyries held a three-point lead. But Ogunbowale responded with a corner 3-pointer with 4.1 seconds left to force overtime. OUTCOME DETERMINING SECOND QUARTER
In both games in this series, the winning team has outscored the other team by its largest margin in the second quarter. In the second quarter of Game 1, the Valkyries outscored Dallas by 26 points, 37-11, en route to a 24-point win. Dallas won the second quarter of Game 2 by eight points, 27-19, and won the game by eight points in overtime.
