Valkyries Postseason Picture: Playoffs Clinched, Fighting for Seeding
The Golden State Valkyries are nearing the end of their inaugural WNBA regular season, with the playoffs beginning on Sept. 14. The Valkyries are currently in sixth place with a 23-20 record, .5 games behind the sixth-place Indiana Fever and .5 games ahead of the eighth-place Seattle Storm. The Golden State Valkyries made WNBA history on Thursday, Sept. 4, becoming the first-ever expansion franchise to reach the playoffs in their inaugural season with their victory over the Dallas Wings at Chase Center.
