The Golden State Valkyries are Ready for the 2025 Draft!

Kiki Iriafen
USA Today
Kiki Iriafen was born and raised in California, playing three years at Stanford University before her final collegiate season at USC. The 6'3 forward averaged 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds in her senior season and helped the Trojans to the Elite Eight. USA Today writer Cydney Henderson believes Irifen possesses many of the characteristics Head Coach Natalie Nakase seeks in a draftee as someone who is "ultra-competitive," possesses "high character" and is "never satisfied."  »Full Mock Draft

Justė Jocytė
CBS Sports
Justė Jocytė is a 19-year-old guard from Lithuania who has played professional basketball since she was 14. Averaging 12.1 points per game in her most recent EuroCup season, CBS Sports projects the Valkyries to select another international player, citing their affinity for overseas players in December's Expansion Draft. The Valkyries drafted the league's reigning finals MVP, Carla Leite, in the Expansion Draft. At 6'0, Jocytė is a bigger guard that CBS Sports writer Jack Maloney described as having "slick playmaking skills" and a "reliable jumper."  »Full Mock Draft

Aneesah Morrow
Associated Press
Like Iriafen, LSU forward Aneesah Morrow also led her Tigers to the Elite Eight, averaging 18.7 points and 13.5 rebounds in her senior campaign. She led the nation in double-doubles and ranks second in NCAA Women's history in that category for her college career (104). Associated Press writer Doug Feinberg described Morrow as having a toughness and "nose for the basketball" that would fit right in with the culture the Valkyries seek to establish. »Full Mock Draft

Dominique Malonga
ESPN
Dominique Malonga is a highly-touted international prospect from France. At 6'6, Malonga would instantly become one of the tallest players in the WNBA. Malonga has far more than size going for her, as an athletic force with a versatile skillset. The 20-year-old center averaged 15.0 points and 10.3 rebounds last season in the EuroCup and became the first Frenchwoman to dunk in an official game. Malonga also won a Bronze Medal with France in the 2024 Olympics. ESPN writer Michael Voepel referenced a comparison of Malonga to reigning 2024 WNBA Finals MVP Jonquel Jones and if she reaches that ceiling, Voepel believes that would be a great building block for the franchise.  »Full Mock Draft
