Fans who wish to purchase tickets for Friday's 7 p.m. game may do so by visiting valkyries.com.
All attendees at tomorrow's Pride Game will receive an exclusive Valkyries fan to celebrate Pride Weekend. The franchise will spotlight Oakland artist Favianna Rodriguez, known for her bold, community-centered artwork celebrating social justice and cultural identity. Rodriguez's art, which will be seen throughout the game, will transform the venue into a vibrant celebration of joy, allyship and empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Pride Game will feature in-game entertainment and programming celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, including a special National Anthem performance by Jason Brock, with Drag performer Ronnie Reddick gracing the court at halftime. The game caps off a month-long series of Valkyries Pride activations throughout the Bay Area including a recent panel at Splash in Thrive City celebrating influential Black LGBTQ+ DJs and artists who have shaped culture locally and globally. The panel featured platinum-certified rapper Kamaiyah and Valkyries official DJs DJ Shellheart and DJ LadyRyan, honoring their legacy and impact on the evolution of sound.
