The Golden State Valkyries unveiled their marketing campaign for the 2026 WNBA Playoffs presented by Kaiser Permanente.
“What our team has accomplished in just our second season is historic,” said Andrea Fernandes, VP of Marketing for the Golden State Valkyries. “This postseason, we are doubling down on the magic of the Valkyries community. Whether you’re inside Chase Center, gathering at one of our 40 Bar Network locations, or watching at home with family, the energy of Ballhalla will echo across the entire Bay Area.”
The “Playoff Gold” video is set to music by Bay Area native Saweetie and showcases authentic testimonials from players reflecting on the energy of Ballhalla and the franchise’s dedicated fanbase.

Building on the regular-season success of their “This is Ballhalla” movement that celebrates the team’s homecourt culture, the playoff campaign brings the spirit of Ballhalla to every corner of the Bay and prominently integrates the Valkyries’ gold brand accents.
Throughout the playoffs, Bay Area residents will also find violet-wrapped San Francisco Muni trains and Waymo vehicles supporting the Valkyries’ postseason push.
The campaign launch comes on the heels of major industry recognition. Last night, the Golden State Valkyries were named Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association at the AMA SF Excellence in Marketing Awards, celebrating the franchise's successful marketing efforts throughout its 2026 regular season campaign.
The Valkyries launch their postseason campaign ahead of Game 1 of the 2026 WNBA Playoffs this Sunday, September 27, presented by Chase Freedom. Official Valkyries playoff merchandise is available now online at shop.valkyries.com and in person at the Golden State Shop.
