Golden State Valkyries Advance to 2026 WNBA Finals

Valkyries Sweep Las Vegas Aces in Semifinals, Finals Tickets Go On Sale Starting Monday, October 12

The No. 2-seed Golden State Valkyries clinched a berth in the 2026 WNBA Finals, presented by Kaiser Permanente, after defeating the defending champion Las Vegas Aces in a 3-0 Semifinals sweep. The Valkyries will face the Atlanta Dream in the best-of-seven championship series, with Game 1 tipping off at Chase Center on Saturday, October 17 at 12:30 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.

The Valkyries earned their first Finals appearance after Friday’s 87-77 win against the No. 3 seed Aces. Gabby Williams led the team in scoring for the second straight series and is averaging 22.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.7 steals this postseason. The Valkyries become the only expansion team in WNBA history to make the Finals in just their second year, after being the first and only team to make the playoffs in their inaugural season in 2025.

The Valkyries will host Game 1, presented by Chase Freedom, and Game 2 at Chase Center. Atlanta will host Games 3 and 4. If necessary, Golden State will host Games 5 and 7, and Atlanta will host Game 6. All Valkyries home games in the Finals will tip off at either 12:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. PT.
