The Valkyries host a rematch with the Toronto Tempo at Chase Center on Tuesday. The Tempo acquired forward Aneesah Morrow from the Connecticut Sun ahead of the trade deadline to boost its frontcourt — Morrow averaged 11.6 points and 8.6 rebounds over 20 games with the Sun. Golden State won the first meeting by 17 points and welcomed back their former center Temi Fágbénlé, who played her first game at Ballhalla as an opponent.

VALKYRIES: Janelle Salaün has scored 50 points over two games against the Toronto Tempo this season, including a career-high 26 points in the first matchup on July 8. Salaün combined for nine 3-pointers over those two matchups and ranks eighth in the WNBA in made 3-pointers per game (2.5 3PM). 
TEMPO: Toronto could potentially get multiple reinforcements back for Tuesday’s rematch as All-Star guard Marina Mabrey didn’t play on Sunday due to a neck injury, nor did newly acquired forward Aneesah Morrow. The Tempo leaned on rookie guard Kiki Rice, who scored 16 points on 50 percent shooting on Sunday.
