BALLHALLA IS ELECTRIC
Through one preseason game and one regular season game at Chase Center, Ballhalla has already provided the Valkyries with a distinct home court advantage. The Valkyries had a sellout crowd of 18,064 fans for the first-ever regular season game, which marked the WNBA's largest-ever attendance for a season opener. Guard Julie Vanloo had the highlight sequence of the game with three straight 3-pointers in the third quarter, which she shared was partially fueled by the passionate crowd, including legendary Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr.

“Right before that moment, I saw Steve Kerr and got hyped," Vanloo said. "It was a boost — that crowd can really be a sixth man for us and we know how much of a difference it can make."

Golden State also recorded the largest attendance for a preseason game with 17,428 fans. The Valkyries will continue to rely on their home court advantage throughout their inaugural season in particular, seeking to establish one of the best fanbases in the WNBA.
