Golden State Waives Center Nadia Fingall

The Golden State Valkyries have signed center Aminata Gueye to a rest-of-season contract, the team announced today. The Valkyries have also announced that they have waived center Nadia Fingall.

Gueye, 24, played for Casademont Zaragoza in Spain from 2025-2026, averaging 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals per game, guiding Zaragoza to a Supercopa de España de Baloncesto Femenino title and a third-place finish at the 2026 EuroLeague Women Final Six. The 6-3 center won a EuroCup title with Villeneuve d'Ascq LM in 2025, posting 13.1 points and 8.8 rebounds while shooting 52.4 percent from the floor, and added four double-doubles across 10 games in the tournament.

Gueye, who will wear No. 31 with Golden State, most recently represented France at the 2026 FIBA World Cup alongside Valkyries teammates Janelle Salaün and Gabby Williams.
