FIBA EuroBasket 2025
FIBA EuroBasket 2025 features Europe's top 16 women's basketball teams competing for the continental title, with the top finisher earning an automatic qualification for the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. The Golden State Valkyries will be well represented at the tournament, which takes place from June 18-29.

FIBA EuroBasket Format
16 Teams
Europe's top 16 Women's basketball teams compete for the continental title.
4 Groups
The 16 teams have been split into four groups and will play every team within their group once — the top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals.

Knockout Stage
Once the quarterfinals begin, it's win or go home until the championship game. The remaining eight teams will be seeded based their group play results.
Championship Game
On June 29, the two semifinals winners will go head-to-head in the championship game, while the two semifinals losers will face each other in the third place game.

The top three teams receive medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and the top five teams (besides host country Germany, who receives an automatic bid) secure a place in the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.
