Bay Area All-Star Scholarship Team (BAASST)
The Bay Area All-Star Scholarship Team Program was formed in 1996 and is a partnership established by the Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, Bay FC, San Francisco Giants, San Jose Earthquakes and San Jose Sharks.

The Bay Area All-Star Scholarship Team Program
Each participating sports team has contributed to the scholarship program in a collective effort to assist Bay Area high school students in achieving their goals of higher education. This unique committee is the first of its kind in the realm of professional sports.
The Bay Area All-Star Scholarship
The Bay Area All-Star Scholarships will be awarded to six successful students residing within the Bay Area’s nine counties. All public high schools within these counties are encouraged to nominate up to four students for this prestigious college award. Each award recipient will receive a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 and will be recognized at team ceremonies.
